Sarah Holmes is a seasoned Designer and Sewing and Production Foreman with a passion for precision and creativity in textile production. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree and a diverse background in Visual Merchandising and Academia, Sarah brings a unique blend of artistic flair and organizational expertise to her role.
Her journey in the world of textiles began during her undergraduate studies, where she developed a fascination for fabric manipulation and garment construction. This fascination led her to pursue a graduate degree in Fine Arts, specializing in textile arts and design. Throughout her academic career, Sarah honed her skills in pattern making and various textile manipulation and construction techniques, from traditional hand-sewing and embroidery to advanced, industrial machine construction.
Early in her career, Sarah ventured into the realm of Visual Merchandising, where she gained valuable experience in showcasing products in retail environments and garnered a strong understanding of space planning and layout. Her keen eye for design and understanding of consumer behavior allowed her to excel in creating visually captivating displays that drove sales and brand engagement.
Transitioning from Visual Merchandising to Academia, Sarah served as a college professor, sharing her passion for manufacturing, textiles, and design with aspiring artists and designers.
